Navy@Vivo is back at VivoCity again!!

This time round, it’s the Republic of Singapore Navy’s (RSN) formidable-class stealth frigate, RSS TENACIOUS, which will be docking at VivoCity Promenade and lowering her gangway for visitors from 23 to 26 June 16.

Daily Activities for Navy@Vivo

1. Roving Navy Ambassadors at Vivocity Central Court
   This walkabout includes RSN personnel in Number One Uniform, Frogman Gear or  Accompanying Sea Security Team (aSSeT) Gear. The escort will be equipped with shout-out board, photo frames and balloons.

2. NDU Boat PT Performance at Vivocity Central Court

3. NCC Precision Drill at Vivocity Central Court

4. SAFRA Radio ‘LIVE’ Hosting at Vivocity Central Court
   Each day will have four sessions of DJ games (Jig-Saw Puzzle, Mix and Match as well as Q &A) .

5. Ceremonial Sunset on board RSS TENACIOUS’s Heli Deck
   This is one of the key highlights of Navy@Vivo. The public is able to witness this long-standing naval tradition of the Navy. The RSN personnel will be in their formal military uniforms for the ceremony, to lower the ship ensign, the harbour ensign and the jack at 7.00pm daily, accompanied by the bugle, a brass instrument.

Navy@Vivo’s Guided Ship Tour

The ship tour starts once you have embarked the frigate while waiting at the ship’s hangar.

• Walk to the Bridge and view the missile deck and the Rigid-hull inflatable boat (RHIBs) along the way
• Pass by the Officer Cabin to see their living quarters
• Walking along the Main Passageway and see various Fire-fighting damage-control (FFDC) equipment
• View the galley and dining place
• Ends at the Helo Deck to take a photo of the Sikorsky S-70B naval helicopter before disembarking the ship

Navy@Vivo’s Shore Exhibition

As part of the event, there will be shore exhibition located at Level 1 of VivoCity. The key shore exhibitions include the weapons and missile simulators, a 3D display of the submarine and latest Littoral Mission Vessel simulator.
