Bixby Creek bridge is the world’s tallest reinforced concrete open-spandrel arch which was built in 1932. It is also one of the most photographed bridges on the West Coast because of its breathtaking view.
There is a viewpoint on the northern side of the bridge where you can find some parking space by the road side. Do not mistake this bridge as Rocky Creek Bridge which is the first bridge to come across when driving south to Big Sur along CA 1 S.
